| I call this piece: Happy rice paddy worker with cast. | | |
| I was putting Chloe down for the night and it took almost an hour!! She showed all the signs of a sleepy little girl but was fighting it soooo HARD! She would yawn and her eyes were getting red, but she insisted that she be read to. First it was Dr. Seuses then a little einstein book, then winnie the pooh... After that she wanted milk, which I said no to because she just brushed her teeth. She always does this: she'll ask for something that she's usually not allowed, just to get a reaction. When I say "no" she just smiles like "I knew you were going to say that" then I say "nice try though"... what a silly little girl. So after I say no to the milk request I gave her some water. As she's laying down she looks off into the distance and says " u-yoo (milk in korean), mul (water in korean), jooosh (juice)" over and over again. Whenever she said "mul" she would nod like "that's what I'm having" kind of thing. It was so funny and I tried so so hard not to laugh out loud. It was really priceless... Her vocabulary really expanded within the past 2 months. After her 7:30pm Yo Gabba Gabba show (her most favorite show) as the credits are rolling, she says "bye-bye c-yoo!" I was like "what did you say?? Did you just say see you?!?!?!" she just smiles sheepishly. *love* So her vocab consists of: Umma (mom) ahppa (dad) hal-mueeeee (grandma) abjeeee (granddad) choon (uncle) mo (aunt) asheee (mister) un-nee (older sister) oppa (older brother) mul (water) u-yoo (milk) joosh (juice) nana (banana) mam ma (food) all the characters on Yo Gabba Gabba: momo (muno) bobee (brobe) pupa (foofa) ple (plex) toote (tootee) mung mung (dog) preng (plane) mu (moon) hi bye-bye ten cu (thank you) no go (usually meaning "get out of my face fool!") and I'm sure a couple of more words... gosh~ that's a lot of words now that I listed them. She can literally hold up a conversation now. She can communicate what she wants and how she wants it. Her communication seems very demanding because they're usually one worded and I feel like her servant. *sigh*
I'll have to post a picture of her with her cast (she broker her forearm in a fatal couch fall) before I forget. She's handling the cast really well despite the extremely hot weather. She does really complain or whine about the cast, maybe because I drew all her Yo Gabba Gabba friends on it. I also sewed on some ice cream made out of felt fabric on her sling and told her it was a hand bag (because she loves to carry hand bags). She's also getting into wearing hats and sunglasses. These two always have to go together. You can not wear just a hat or just sunglasses. These two items have to be worn at the same time no matter what. So silly, but I have to admit, I love it. I love to see all her quirky tendencies and I love finding them as well.
Ok, I gotta go to sleep!

| So today was another busy day. In the morning my SIL and I decided to walk to home and home to get a dish drying container that I've been looking all over for. It's this plastic container with a sliding lid that I could store all of Chloe's cups and things that I don't want dust to get on, it's genius. So last night I thought it was a good idea to walk there because it's a short walk from her apt but it was freakin' hot and humid today and half way there we both realized what a horrible mistake it was, and also the area is madddd ghetto. I mean GHETTO. I forgot how ghetto some places in NY could be, but I was quickly reminded when I was maneuvering Chloe in her stroller through the cracked sidewalk with garbage everywhere... So we get there and get the last remaining one (SCORE!) and make our sweaty way back and Aunt Judy came to pick us up to go to Aunt Karen's house. It's real cute because now Chloe calls all the girls that look around my age eemo (aunt in Korean) and guys choon (short for samchoon which means uncle in Korean). So anyway we start heading over to Karen's place and Chloe's screaming in the back of the car like someone hit her with a bat, but again, she stops when i go to pick her up... arrrgggghhh! We grab lunch an head over to Karen's pad (which is gorgeous by the way. Love your taste honey!) and Chloe looked alittle sleepy so I put her on my back and she fell asleep. As if Chloe knew that mommy had a lot of catching up to do with her girls, she graciously took a 3 hour nap. Thanks sweetie! After her nap I guess she was hungry because she started shoving like 6 grapes into her tiny little mouth and it seemed like she was swallowing them whole. She also gobbled up all the pop chips! Can we say "oink"? Karen also got some magnolia cupcakes (Yum!!!!) and Chloe inhaled it! She knows what's good ^^ Then it was time to ge back to have dinner with family and head back up to Grandma's house. The car ride back was not any better (why is she all of a sudden a screamer in the car??) and of course she immediately stops when we let her out. I'm getting so worried about the plane ride home... Any suggestions?? | | |
| So today we: Got up and got ready to go to Long Island to see my grandmother and go to the mall. The car ride there was ok, not too bad, but that's because my sister-in-law's sister was in the back with Chloe. When we got to my grandmother's house, my aunt was painting the deck in the back and before I even knew it, Chloe walked on to the deck! We both yelled for her to get down which startled her, which caused her to fall! *sigh* She's crying and there's paint all over her and her new Lacoste dress... Nice~ I wash her up and she's happy to run around in her diapers... -_- After lunch we headed out to the mall for a photo session. On the way there Chloe fell asleep. I wanted to give her some time before waking her up but the asshole photographer insists that I wake her. I wake her up and she's cranky and crying but the idiot moron's like "ok lets put her in the middle and give her a big balloon!" Ok... Chloe's not amused with your shitty balloon and what makes you think that she's going to let you take pictures of her in her groggy state?! You would think that someone who works with kids should know better but I guess he decided he was going to be a fat asshole today. So we got 6 pictures, then Chloe took a dump (that's what she thought about the whole picture thing... she took a dump on it) and that was that. In the pictures, Chloe either looked scared or blanked out. haha It was a good thing it was free or else I would've gone ape shit on them. After the mall we headed back to my brother's house but our day wasn't done yet. Chloe and I had to meet up with aunt Sangu for dinner. On the way to meeting up with Sangu, Chloe was yelling and waling in the back and I giave her her bottle (which we totally cut at home but due to traveling stress I introduced it back into her life...) and she fell asleep. I thought that this gave me an opportunity to go into my dear city to have dinner but was I wrong. It did give her more time to sleep but after she woke up she was cranky as ever and just not her happy self. I think the whole environment kind of scared her, being the little AZ hick that she is... We had a very noisy dinner and decided to call it a night. On the drive back she cried the whole way but miraculously stopped when I went to pick her up from her car seat... *double sigh* I need a vacation from my vacation. She's sleeping like an angle right now... | | |
| Just another quick blog before I go off to bed. I'm at my brother's house since yesterday and I finally got to meet baby Kayla. She's such a good baby. She's so chills and content. Chloe loves her and hugs and kisses her (a little too hard sometimes) but when I hold Kayla, Chloe starts crying and wants to be picked up... what a greedy little girl... So maybe the sibling might have to wait a bit. Chloe had an off night last night. She woke up at 3am and wouldn't go back to sleep till 5:30am... WTF?! At first I was so worried that she mioght be sick, but later I was just pissed! I think she had a nightmare, because she did the same thing back home, but she went back to sleep right after. Hope she's good tonight. We're going to get some pictures taken at the mall tomorrow with Kayla. I'll post pictures^^ I am so tired right now. Short update, but nothing much to put up today^^ Good Night! | | |
